Who We Are
The North American Golden Sisters of Charles Heerey Memorial Juniorate (NAGOS of CHMJ) is a nonprofit alumnae association encompassing all Old Girls of CHMJ in both United States of America (USA) and Canada.
NAGOS of CHMJ was established on February 9th, 2021, to reunite all CHMJ alumnae (Junioratans) across the USA and Canada with the goal of fostering long-lasting friendship among members while simultaneously extending support to the less privileged and empowering women and young people.
We identify as the “Golden Sisters” as we firmly believe in the supreme bond of sisterhood. Our firm conviction lies in the unwavering strength and support that sisters selflessly provide to one another, forming an exceptionally resilient relationship. Our association’s motto is “Nwanne Amaka” (Sister is supreme), and our association slogan is “Golden Hearts that unite.”
Since its inception, NAGOS has successfully offered its members a remarkable platform to stay connected, share lifelong friendships, relive fond memories of CHMJ, and facilitate opportunities to give back to our Alma mater, contribute to humanitarian causes, and make a positive difference in the world.
Our esteemed organization is centered on unity, benevolence, and community service, which we steadfastly uphold in all our actions and endeavors. All members are expected to contribute financially and functionally towards our collective goals, as every contribution is integral to our steadfast dedication and unwavering motivation towards achieving success.
NAGOS of CHMJ is incorporated in the state of Texas as a non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3). We encourage all Junioratans in North America and every individual willing to support us in our cause to join us today. Together, we can make a difference!
